About Who to work for replacing lights in and maintaining antenna towers in Cincinnati, Ohio

Who to work for replacing lights in and maintaining antenna towers in Cincinnati, Ohio?
I heard that the company that hires people to climb up cell phone, and TV towers to replace light bulbs and maintain the towers pay very well. I have been looking for a company that hires people to do that locally in Cincinnati, Ohio and I cant find one for the life of me. Does anyone one here know what the job position is called or better yet any company's here in Cincinnati that hire to do that?

Check out www.pexx.com - they appear to be a company that does this. Be aware- if a job pays a lot of money, then that usually means there are also a lot of people trying to work there. If you dont have experience, then it might be a longshot. Not that you shouldnt try- but you might want to explore other avenues as well.

Here are a few sites to get your search started--- Capital City Group- steel erectors ccgroup-inc.com Wernke Steel Erection manta,com/coms2/_c077rq/wernke This site has info on 188 steel erectors in Southern Ohio thomasnet.com/southern-ohio/steelfabricating. I agree that you should be cautious. I knew a guy who did just what you describe. He took a night off, and his sub was climbing a tower with an improperly- bolted section, which collapsed, taking him to his death.

Try some restaurant. They might hire you as a waiter. Minimum wage though. Ask around. Its hard to find a job at that age. Check with old rich people. They pay better than stores. You might clean or something but get a pretty good amount.
3 :
Not really. Make your own job. Rake leaves, shovel snow, babysitter, etc...
4 :
I don't think you can get a real job til you are 15. Maybe you could get a paper route? 10 year olds can handle delivering papers, so maybe you could too? Cheers and good luck

I delivered newspapers at 14... the local rep dropped them off at my house and I did the traditional bike route.

About I think my salary is low! I work for a software company in the cincinnati area. I work in the operating dept

I think my salary is low! I work for a software company in the cincinnati area. I work in the operating dept.?
I work for a software company in the cincinnati area. I work in the operating dept. I am making 33,000 and feel I should be at 40. I have an associates degree in computer science. I have been working there 9 months. My year review is in 3 months and i'm thinking they dont give that high of raises. How can I convince them to pay me more? Should I be making more money or? What is a typical first raise jump, percentage wise? p.s. My performance is good, and I never miss work, etc. Id rather not say the company. but I will have my 4 year degree in 1 year. I'm almost done.

33 with an AS degree and less than a year experience? I would call that a bargain. Go back and get your BS. Check out www.salary.com for some statistics.
2 :
i would def. ask for a raise what company is it?
3 :
Sorry, but you need to quit whining. With an **Associate** degree and having been there for only 9 months, you're making out like a bandit! :-) Ask the Human Resources person at your company what the general policy is regarding raises. Typically, a straight cost-of-living annual raise is around 3%.

You're doing pretty well, especially for someone in Operations. I have an MS and am making less than you (of course, I work at a university, which means I make less than people in industry...still, in a university you'd be making more like $18K with your background).

You dont give some important information to make a determination from, such as what languages you are programming in, and if you have any other skills, such as project management, or the ability to do analysis. That being said, with 9 months experience, $33K isnt horrible. You can always ask for a larger raise, and its possible you could get it, but I wouldnt ask until the 1 year review, as 9 months is a pretty short time. I wouldnt push too hard, or start looking for a new job until you finish your BS though. You can always consider going contract as well, if you really dont want/need your benefits, they make a higher hourly rate. I just hired a new contractor in Cinci at $55 an hour for VBA programming on Excel stuff.

About I work at an assisted living in cincinnati ohio

I work at an assisted living in cincinnati ohio?
I work at an assisted living in ohio. And sometimes they give us ppl who are not assisted living material. One lady we got was dying and couldn't do anything. Another lady we got can not do anything either and hits us and talks to walls and imaginary ppl. Why have assisted living criteria if they don't follow them and have just anyone come to the assisted living. Are they allowed doing this. I don't know if state would approve. We are getting more of these ppl more often. We can't use hospital beds or hoyer lifts so it makes lifting very difficult

Apparently, the facility you work at has a license for assisted living residents and also skilled nursing level patients. You sound annoyed with the woman that is confused and also with the one who is dying. If that's the case, maybe you're in the wrong line of work. Neither of them can help their situation and they need your compassion and care, not your aggravation. It sounds odd to me that you cannot use a hoyer on these patients, but every state has its own laws and all I know is California law. Speak to your immediate supervisor about this issue and see what she has to say.

Restaurants are your best bet. A lot of people I know are moonlighting as bartenders/servers. Weekends are usually their busiest time. Very high turnover rates means there are plenty of openings--if you can wait tables you will never go hungry.

Retail stores, and restaurants, might be. That's when they're busiest.

I work full-time and go to school part-time, so I didn't think I'd have time for a second job even though I desperately needed the money. When I heard about the Mary Kay opportunity I wasn't sure it was for me because I didn't think I'd be good at it, but after trying the products, seeing what they did for my skin, and how they sell themselves, I knew I had to get involved! The great thing is that you can work it part-time, full-time, not at all, whatever you want. There are no deadlines, no bosses, no quotas, and you make 50% of everything you sell and it's money in your pocket- no waiting for a paycheck. The products sell themselves and the demand is so high, but people don't know where to buy it because we don't advertise. That's why I'm trying to build my team up... Because I have so many customers and not enough people to service them. You can take the Life Can Be Good quiz to see if this is something for you: http://www.marykay.com/adina_k/startabusiness/lifecanbegood/default.aspx
