Yes, you would need to file as a nonresident in your work state, and file as a resident in your residence state. The work state will tax your wages earned in that state, and your residence state will tax all of your income on a worldwide basis. To offset double taxation, you would be able to claim a credit against the tax in your residence state for the taxes paid in your work state on the same income.
2 :
You'd have to file a return in both states. The tax you pay to one state would be deducted from the taxes due on the other return.

Just fill out some online surveys or register and you get money added to your account. It's not a lot of money but it helps.

Well, you are kind of asking a lot here- I mean, who doesnt want the perfect job? I'd love to find a job that pays $250,000 a year, where I get a corner office, have really nice people to work with, and only have to work form 9AM to 10AM as well. I dont think that is out there though. You dont mention a college degree either, so that knocks out a bunch of things. So, hmmm, a few suggestions I have for you I guess: 1) Daycare center. Money is mediocre, and you get to work with some great people (little kids), although they might be screaming, fighting, and crying the whole day 2) Nanny. Money is about the same as a daycare center usually, but you work with less kids, and the parents are your manager. As long as the parents are reasonable people, this can be a pretty good setup 3) BAE Systems in West Chester- our old Nanny went there to work. She claims to love it 4) Waitressing- the hours suck, the people suck, but the money can be OK. Besides the hours and the people, these jobs are harder to come by right now because of the economy, and people are tipping less because of the economy 5) Temp agency? It sounds like you are just looking for a short term job anyway
2 :
It's easier to get another job once you have a job already. Try for a place that's close to home and hires a lot of people, like McDonald's. Seriously, they have trained one in 12 of all American workers. http://www.mcmontana.com/13124/
3 :
Strip club. Where all my money goes! You'll have enuf for a good holiday season! Come to Columbus tho, so I can see you easier! lol...

Does anyone know if an unlocked GSM sciphone i68 for tmobile and at and t will work with cincinnati bell sim?
It says it works for At&t and Tmobile but nor particularly for cincinnati bell, i googled the GSM number for cincinnati bell and it is 1900 and the phone description said it would work for 1700/1800/1900 and some others. I am really being paranoid, I bought it for 65 USD and am waiting for it to come in, if it doesn't work I have 7 days to send it back...but I just need to know if it will work. thanks.

yes it should work 100% sure it will work unless a dog pees on the phone or something. 3g however may not work. on a side note, i must advise you against buying that phone. it seems to be a very shady phone made by some weird manufacturer. Honestly i think the only way they could possibly sell it is because its an iphone look-alike. The specs tell me it is utter garbage. i reccomend this. google.com/phone . its google's official phone, marketed by them, manufactered by htc. Both quality brandnames. and its fairly cheap too.

About dental work question cincinnati ohio

Dental work question cincinnati ohio?
I'm 19 years old and have never been to the dentist before. My job now doesn't provide me with insurance, my parents don't have it either. I have a huge cavity that keeps getting worse and worse by the day and I need some way to get it filled (and all the other work I probably need done since I've never seen a dentist in my life) without having to pay the full uninsured price they would charge. I just can't afford that. I've heard dental clinics will do work but I can't seem to find any in my area. Please help! I'm in cincinnati if that helps... thank you

Call Dr. Rick Singel's office 871-4200. They're in Hyde Park. See if they will work with you on a payment plan or if they will refer you to a clinic. You may be too late to save that tooth, but the infection can get into your bloodstream and cause serious damage; it's important that you act immediately.

About I live in Northern Kentucky and work in Downtown Cincinnati

I live in Northern Kentucky and work in Downtown Cincinnati.?
Is it financially correct for the Accounts Payable girl to take out taxes from both Ohio AND Kentucky on my paycheck? Or does she just hate me as much as she makes it seem?
Financial Services - 1 Answers

It depends on the laws in the state (and sometimes city) where you work, and live. If the state of KY (or the county/city you live in) recognizes your income earned as taxable, and OH does as well, you could be taxed for both. In the end however, there is a formula that would typically be used to offset the double taxation. You should talk to your financial adviser or ask the states for clarification to see if your taxes are being legally deducted.

About how is the bus service in Cincinnati

How is the bus service in Cincinnati?
I am from Turkey and I will work in Cincinnati at this summer. I want to rent a apartment but I dont know the bus service (from home to work). I will work in Paramounts Kings Island. Which district do you advice me ?

1 :
I don't know Cincinnati but here is their bus web site: http://www.sorta.com/ Hope it helps - have a great summer!
2 :
You'll probably want to look around Mason, OH for an apartment. Should be a short bus ride to work. You also may what to check with King's Island to see where they recommend for an apartment. As for the buses, I'm more used to the northern Kentucky buses, but I rarely hear people gripe about them and work with quite a few people that ride the bus in. The link in the answer above should be able to help you out.
3 :
You will want to live within 20 minutes of Kings Island as the Cincinnati Bus System (Metro) is not convenient. If you live across town, it will take hours to get to and from work each day. Some good areas would be Kenwood, Mason, Montgomery, Deer Park, West Chester, Madeira or Blue Ash. Good Luck!

3 :
Kroger (bag girl) and Donatos hires at 15.
4 :
I would say the grocery stores such as Kroger do hire 14 and 15 year olds. Some fast food restaurants or ice cream shops may hire 14/15 year olds as well. Just go to some places near where you live and ask what the minimum hiring age is.

About Relocating to Cincinnati for work as an Air Traffic Controller. What are some good areas? Thanks

Relocating to Cincinnati for work as an Air Traffic Controller. What are some good areas? Thanks!?
I'll be relocating within the next 3-5 months and am seeking housing in a more upscale area. I'm looking for an area that is young and preferably somewhat close to the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky airport. With that being said, is it better to live in Cincinnati or Kentucky? As much help and information as I can get on this I would REALLY appreciate it!! Thanks in advance!
Cincinnati - 9 Answers
Random Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
1 :
As much as I am fond of Cincinnati, in this specific case I would recommend that you look in Kentucky first. The simple reason is that the bridge and I-75 slow and clog frequently enough to be a problem for someone whose job includes sufficient stress. I say that for selfish reasons; I prefer that the air traffic controllers that serve my people should be as calm as possible. The airport is 13 miles from downtown Cincinnati. You might consider, if you are convinced that Cincinnati is more desirable, looking at the Delhi area and taking the Anderson Ferry. I always love the boat ride.
2 :
OK, the airport is in Hebron Ky which is about 20 minutes south of Cincinnati. Nice upscale places in KY are Villa Hills, Lakeside Park, and Fort Thomas. In Cincinnati, Hyde Park is a very nice upscale neighborhood with older established homes. e-mail me if you need anymore info.
3 :
Hyde Park is where a lot of the younger people like to live, but just as the first person wrote, living in Northern Kentucky may be better for you because crossing the bridge to get into Kentucky sometimes is stressful due to traffic and if there are snowstorms, traffic can get even worse. Fort Thomas is a nice area and you may also look around Newport. My preference is to live as close to work as possible so your commute is shorter.
4 :
if you are going to work at CVG, stay in NKY. Traffic on I75 sucks big time.. DO NOT move into tht CITY of Cincinnati, the taxes are bad! Check out Burlington KY, I have friends that live near Limaburg Pk and there are nice houses out there. If you must live in Ohio, maybe Delhi, then take the ferry over to KY18 to go to work.
5 :
Villa Hills in Northern Kentucky.
6 :
Definitely live in KY. Not just Taxes, but traffic, and proximity to the airport are the plusses. There is a nice area in Union - very new developments, as well as older established areas like Ft. Mitchell, Lakeside Park, Ft Thomas. Welcome to the area!
7 :
I recommend living in N.KY. We just moved here for work w/ Toyota, very close to the airport. I would not like the commute into or out of Cincinnati every day! It can get crazy. There are upscale neighborhoods all over, we just bought a gorgeous house near Florence/Union, about 15 min from the airport. There are giant houses all around in very nice neighborhoods! You should talk with a realtor to help find nice neighborhoods. Enjoy your move!
8 :
I used to live in Cincinnati and moved with my family to Northern KY about 5 years ago. We moved to Park Hills in Northern KY and it is, in my opinion, the nicest place in the area. Recently, I moved into a house with my boyfriend and we decided to stay in Park Hills because we loved it so much. It is about a 5 minute drive from downtown Cincinnati and provides very easy access to many different areas that are in Northern Kentucky AND Cincinnati. It's very safe and has many beautiful old homes. Everyone knows each other and it is very easy to feel a part of a community there.
9 :
Check out Hebron. You'll be close to work and there are a lot of newer subdivisions. I know several people that live in Hebron and they all seem to love it there. It's a very rapidly growing area.

I believe you can work at Safeway and stuff when your like 14 as cashier but most places you need to be at least either 16 or 18.
2 :
Generally 16. I suggested a good e-Bay business idea to a similar question this week and the Bozo gave me a Best Answer and then called me a derogatory name. He said that he was only posting that question to placate his parents. I only mention that to indicate why people would fail to respond to questions from a teenager.
3 :
The federal law allows a 14 year old to work a limited number of hours a week, I think eight. It increases for a 15 year old. There are no restrictions for a 16 year old. This is national law. This is also because one has to stay in school until 16 so that there cannot be a work school conflict. There are specific state laws that can be reviewed at the link below. Most modern laws started with the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 and have been just slightly modified since then.
4 :
16 duh!
5 :
14-year-olds can work only in certain jobs. Once a person is 16 there is a lot more freeedom in the type of job a person can have. Below is a website that lists the limitations on employment in the State of Ohio.
6 :
14ish. I don't believe there is a limit in the summer time though. This goes back to when kids worked on the farm in summer. I would enjoy your childhood instead.

Talk to your school's guidance counselors office about getting a work permit and ask if they have any job leads they can refer you to. That's how I made it through high school. I never really to go through job interviews because the school would assign me to jobs in retail sales, stock work, inventory, office jobs, etc. What do you have to lose???

I live in Texas but work 6 days (about) a month in Cincinnati. How do I pay the least amount of taxes?
I lived in Kentucky till Memorial Day so have paid Kentucky taxes. I work in downtown Cincinnati so pay local Cincinnati taxes and am having Ohio taxes withheld. I live in Texas which has no income taxes but fly in to Cincinnati about 6 days a month to help do my job. I work out of my office in Dallas the rest of the month. I am trying to either minimize my state taxes or avoid them altogether if I can. My employer is withholding Ohio and Cincinnati income taxes. I assume that I can pro rate my tax bill, is that true and how do I do that?

If you own a degree - or any alternative qualification - then you'll already be ahead of the bunch when it comes to searching for careers. My mate has a degree and he wasn't certain what direction to go with it, but he discovered some excellent instruction on the website in the resource box below which helped him to decide that he wanted to be a lab assistant. There is plenty of help on the website regarding alternative careers.
