You need to pass the National Boards, 2 parts, then pass the Foreign Boards and then the Boards for the state you want to work in. Many states have contingencies that if you fail numerous attempts then you must attend a US dental school for 2 years and then retest.

Paycor is a payroll service provider with it's corporate headquarters located in Cincinnati Ohio. It has a turnover rate of over 50% with it's employees. It's a horrible place to work. Beware.

I know another bad one-The Gap/Old Navy wearhouses especially in Columbus Ohio treat you like a piece of trash and give you no respect!!! Flower Factory is another one that treats you like garbage. I don't know anything about Paycor but, thanks for letting me know.

How can you work security and not know that? Well to help you can buy it on-line I would think. Type mace/pepper spray in your search engine I am sure it will come up. I purchased my handcuffs on-line. I am a former LPS. Not security but similar. I would first check with both your employer and your state/local laws pertaining to the carrying and use of such products!

I live in Cincinnati Ohio and I work at Kroger in the Floral shop. I have been working a lot lately only 2 days off a week. Im only part time and now they have me working 7 days in a row (Thrusday to wednesday). I am also in college at the university of cincinnati for nursing and on academic probation. Right when I get out of school I go straight to work till that night, no time to study or even eat hardly.

It depends on your states labor laws. Here in Arizona I once work 6 weeks without a day off , luckily it was an easy job, but at another job, that was extremely dangerous and physically demanding, they had us work two weeks straight, 95hrs per week) and we all threatened to report them and we got our days off. So just look up your states laws. If your new schedule goes against your original availability, then let your HR person/boss know.

you can work as much as you want besides obvious things like labor laws etc but you're in college. Bring food in your pockets and eat when no one's looking or in your car bathroom etc. pay attention in class and read read read all the time. also make super-concise pieces of paper with about a day's worth of material, and just read it if no one's there, you're in the floral shop so it's probably fairly quiet down there.. unless your boss is a christian you probably won't have any problems with leaving a piece of paper near your purse or something(assuming you're female due to the nature of your question). just read a sentence once in a while... you know what I mean. hope this helps.. and btw I pay very close attention to the way you spend your time. When I was in high school I took 7 AP classes, and honors etc throughout the whole deal... and never once did I ever have to do anything besides those stupid busywork poster projects at home... so get your work done, don't postpone it.. and since you probably have to learn new material study in the time you're normally spacing out. Depends on the Union contract. In ours if you work a Sunday it doesn't count; there for you can be scheduled more than 7 days. It is Mon. through Sat. then you have to have another day off. I know this doesn't make much sense but it's the contract.

Hi Frank, you kind of posted this in the wrong category, but yes, Cincinnati is a great city to work and live in. Like every other city, there are part of the city that are quite unsafe, such as Over the Rhine, Avondale, College Hill, Bond Hill, etc. But the suburbs are extremely nice, and there are a number of inner-ring cities that are very nice as well, such as Hyde Park, Glendale, Indian Hill, Montgomery, etc. The City itself is really being revive3d int he downtown areas, and of course, Cincy has its 2 major professional sports teams (Reds and Bengals). The Arts scene in Cincy is much better than one would expect for a city of its size. Cincy also has a lot of fun things for kids, like nice local parks, Kings Island, several water parks (Great Wolf Lodge, Kings Island, The Beach), an aquarium, and a lot of other things.. Cincinnati also has a lot more local heritage and character than many other cities, and a lot of things that make it unique. I would recommend it for most anyone, its really something of a hidden gem.

There is a group called 'cleaning for a reason"....they go to cancer patients homes who are going through chemo and clean their house for free....I know it's not to do with hair but you could contact someone from there and let them know you are looking to help out and I'm sure they are aware of all the organizations in cincinnati and you can let them know you are a hair dresser and looking to help out....they will probably know of an organization that would be a good fit for you and give you the contact info. Hair loss could be associated with dieting, lifestyles or generic. A friend of mine used shampoos, Vitamin C's ,cream etc.It did not cure the ROOT cause. It helps if you have some inside information anywhere you go. There are quite a few people vying for these positions! Be surprised how much you can make in tips after people have a few beers in them! My daughters friend works down there parttime. They only allow 3 hours shifts, but are always looking for people to help clean the stands and stuff like that. Go to humane dept. at the ball park and apply just for grandstand work. You have to take what they give you, but there are a lot of kids that never show up for work, and if you are willing, you can move up to server! Good Luck! Hope to see ya there!

well - if i know how this works...you don't go directly through the Reds organization. what you'll need to do is find out who their concessionaire is. Volume Services and SportService are two of the big ones that work pro stadiums and stuff. So, you'd need to contact the Reds concessionaire and go from there.

It in theory could work because they are both GSM networks. However, the AT&T phone must be unlocked or it will not work on any other network other than its own. There are companies on the internet that can unlock phones for a reasonable cost if needs be. Just google it.

Call the Free Store food bank, Catholic charities, soup kitchens, Meals on wheels, Matthew 24 ministries usually needs helpers to box up donations, The Drop in center, Salvation Army, probably any nursing home would like volunteers, contact the local parks, schools, Habitat for Humanity. You will need to go through a background check to volunteer at schools and some of the charities.

You have to have a certificate to be a nurses aide now. You can't just go into a medical facility and go to work anymore. Your best bet is to get into a college that teaches nursing and go from there. That way, you will get to skip all the other aspects of health care and jump right into nursing.

I agree, you should jump in to nursing immediately if that is your goal. You will have clinical hours while in school that will give you the on-the-job experience you need to start. I took classes for nursing assistant, phlebotomist and ECG tech before starting nursing school. I learned a lot, but feel it just wasted my time as I re-learned all of it again after starting nursing school. Good luck to you.

I can never figure out why people think there are oppessing teams bars in certain cities. Your best bet is to go to a large sports bar in a more touristy part of town. Thats where your likely to see steeler fans hanging out. But i can tell you one thing, steeler fans are never hard to find. Along with Cowboy and Bear fans, you will probably find them in every large sports bar ( with the NFL ticket) in the country. But you rarley will ever find bars dedicated to fans from away teams. At least i have never come across one.

I'm a college student (elementary ed major) and looking at working for a daycare center as a toddler teacher this summer. Any idea how much I can expect to make per hour?

I am a preschool teacher in columbus. Right now I make $8.75 - I am licenced, and trained in first aid/cpr/communicable diseases and I am an assistant teacher. I have also worked at another preschool as a co-lead making $10/hr. And I also worked in a preschool for children with autism making $12/hr as an assistant. It really depends on what kind of daycare you work at. You might make less at a kindercare, la pettite, or childrens world then you would at a goddard.

Our family and another one recently hired a Nanny, who had been the Lead at the Daycare that I had originally been taking my son to. As the lead, she had been making $9.25 an hour, for watching 5 kids and doing her additional lead duties. Now she watches 2 infants in our house, and we pay her a straight $400 a week for a maximum of 40 hours a week (and its usually less). We also give her paid holidays and a week of paid vacation every year as well. And as an added bonus, when we have more kids, we'll probably be giving her a pretty nice raise. Moral of the story is, you might want to give Nannying a shot as well, as its likely you'll end up making more money under better conditions.

Check out www.pexx.com - they appear to be a company that does this. Be aware- if a job pays a lot of money, then that usually means there are also a lot of people trying to work there. If you dont have experience, then it might be a longshot. Not that you shouldnt try- but you might want to explore other avenues as well.
